This case copes with 40cm (16\") in the upper pockets and 23-31cm (9-12\") in the lower pockets.\u003cbr\u003e\nThe case has 12 slots that can house more than 1 in each so if you have a couple of the same size they can sit together. As you can see you can store your needles either way up.\u003cbr\u003e\nI have used a cute cat print cotton fabric on a black background for the outer, flap and lower pocket and a deep purple cotton fabric to line the case and the upper needle pocket. The case is interfaced for structure and strength and topstitched all around for neatness.\u003cbr\u003e\nThe case neatly folds into thirds and is fastened with a black elastic loop and a resin button .
