After a couple of requests for a needle case that would cope with the shorter length of the tiny circulars used for socks etc, I decided to start stocking them. This case copes with 40cm (16") in the upper pockets and 23-31cm (9-12") in the lower pockets.
The case has 12 slots that can house more than 1 in each so if you have a couple of the same size they can sit together.
I have used a very pretty floral fabric in bright cerise shades on a mid grey background for the outer, flap and lower pocket and a cerise pink cotton fabric to line the case and the upper needle pocket. The case is interfaced for structure and strength and topstitched all around for neatness.
The case neatly folds into thirds and is fastened with a pink elastic loop and a decorative wooden button. Pattern placement and button may vary.
