A hand knitted very pretty hat. The yarn is a a soft 70% wool, 30% acrylic and is machine washable. This yarn is a heavier weight than my usual stranded hats, so nice and warm! The main yarn is a very pretty variegated green yarn that goes from pale to deep moss shades finally changing to a denim blue. The contrast is cream. The pattern itself is extremely pretty and traditional, being flowers inside arches. The pattern develops into an eye catching star design at the crown of the head. The pattern is a stranded 'Norwegian' style. This Hat is not slouchy, it is designed to be form fitting. Should fit an average head. Unstretched dimensions: my mannequin head is 56cm (22") around 51cm (20”) around 23.5cm (9.25”) From base of rib to top of crown.
