A hand knitted very pretty hat. The yarn is a a soft 100% wool. This yarn is a heavier weight than my usual stranded hats, so nice and warm! The main yarn is a very pretty variegated mid lilac purple and transitioning into a variety of pinks from pale to cerise. The contrast is cream. The pattern itself is extremely pretty and traditional, being flowers interspersed with diamonds. The pattern develops into an eye catching heart design at the crown of the head. The pattern is a stranded 'Norwegian' style. This Hat is not slouchy, it is designed to be form fitting. Should fit an average head. Unstretched dimensions: 48cm (19”) around 22.5cm (9”) From base of rib to top of crown This yarn is hand wash only.
