A hand knitted very pretty hat. The yarn is a a soft 65% wool and 35% alpaca. This yarn is a heavier weight than my usual stranded hats, so nice and warm! The main yarn is a heathered purple colour. The contrast is cream. The pattern itself is extremely pretty and traditional, being flowers interspersed with diamonds. The pattern develops into an eye catching heart design at the crown of the head. The pattern is a stranded 'Norwegian' style. This Hat is form fitting. My mannequin head is 55cm round to give you an idea. Should fit an average head. Unstretched dimensions: 50cm (19.5”) around 22cm (8.5”) From base of rib to top of crown This yarn is hand wash only.
